Abstract

The concerns about healthy scalp and hair management are increased by improvement in living standard, which various scalp and hair management business is on the rise. Not only genetic factors, but also environmental one such as unhealthy eating habits, stress, drinking and smoking, increase acquired hair loss. Hair loss on young people and women grows larger so that arouse interest in scalp care. Accordingly, the domestic market for hair loss is repeating the high growth of every year 20-30% consequently. Although the medical product market is expected larger, the most part of the entire maket is non-medical product like shampoo, cosmetics and industrial products. With the spread of hair loss business, focus on research and development, natural therapies, introduction of traditional oriental medicine, In addition, various marketing strategies, the domestic market for hair loss will be expected to increase in the beauty industry.
